SWIX wax/tuning Clinics - 2015

Hello North Zone Alberta Alpine Ski Club contacts,

I hope this email finds you all well rested from a great summer and that you are all waiting for the start of the upcoming ski season with much anticipation.

We at Pacesetter Ski Shoppe are gearing up for a spectacular season and are sending this email to you all to inform you of upcoming events that will be of interest to you and your members this October/November.

You and the members of your ski team are invited to attend one of 3 SWIX wax/tuning clinics taking place at Pacesetter Ski Shoppe this fall.

In addition to the 3 wax clinics we will be offering an advanced wax clinic as well.

Pacesetter Ski Shoppe has supported the racing community in the North Zone through various sponsorship initiatives (providing prizing for races, donating big ticket items (skis) for silent auction fundraisers and many other initiatives) and we are asking for a commitment from the North Zone clubs to attend these clinics with their athletes and parents. Ultimately, good attendance at these clinics will benefit the clubs in the North Zone with continued sponsorship initiatives and assistance from Pacesetter Ski Shoppe in the future.

The clinics will be a very worthwhile event for athletes and parents to attend.

- Provides the opportunity to learn the basics of tuning and waxing. (And possibly some more advanced procedures depending on the level of experience of each event attendees)

- Provides the opportunity to purchase and/or order tuning and waxing product at the special pricing. (order forms with special pricing will be given to those who attend each clinic) (NOTE: Offer will not be available following the clinics. Normal race pricing applies to tuning equipment and supplies purchased following the clinics.)
- All those who attend will be entered to “WIN” prizes.
Mitch Conner (SWIX/Fischer rep) will be conducting the clinics and has scheduled 4 separate clinics with us for your members to attend.

We are not allocating specific nights for each club, so every night is open to all clubs to RSVP to. Interested attendees will need to reserve their spot for whatever night works best for them

Each clinic is limited to 30 attendees, so it is important to RSVP to me at: info@pacesettersb.com before the RSVP deadline shown on the invitation (see attached).

The SWIX starter kit will be offered again this season. The kit (see separate information sheet) includes all the necessary tuning tools and wax to get the beginner started including a metal tool box to store all components.

Thank you for your assistance and continued support!

See you soon,

Jason Schilling

In addition to the clinic invite I would also like to inform the North Zone membership that we are currently stocked with all the race equipment that you may require going into the season.

Currently, we are receiving our outerwear inventory. The selection is changing daily.

Please come and see us for your racing needs whether it be for a preseason base grind on your skis, helmets, goggles, boots, skis, replacing that pole you snapped last season or even another pair of skis socks.
