The open house registration will take place at our Audi Training Center, located next to the T-Bar, at the rabbit hill Snow Resort starting at 0930. Kids will get an opportunity to train with our coaches and try a few timed runs on our race course. Each participant will go home with a pre-training certificate.
Dryland is successfully under way for everyone. The weather is getting colder. There is snow at Marmot. Only 6 weeks away from first training camp in the mountains. A great group of coaches are ready to get started.
Only a few things need to be done before the season can begin:
Dad needs to tune some skis that he avoided last Spring, and
The Club needs some help with our Web Site
The role is titled Web Master/Communications. What we need is an individual (or spousal team) that has some familiarity with a web site.
Our web site has become a vital communication tool for our Club. That being said, our site needs some TLC to clean it up, update some content and generally raise the level of quality.
Please contact me directly if you have the appropriate skills to fill this role

The 2012-2013 Dryland Registration forms are now available under the registration page. Please ensure you fill these out and hand to the coaches upon commencement. Please be advised any athletes who have not handed in their registration forms and waivers will not be allowed to participate until they are completed. Please check the program calendar for the dates and times of Dryland training.
Even though we are still in the middle of Summer, we would like to announce this years coaching structure.
We will have Co-Program Directors
Brian Bentt: U10 and Regional Program
Mike Yamashita: U12 and up
Our coaching staff will include many returning coaches and some new coaches who are recently retired Rabbit racers.
Nancy Greene U10 Head Coach: Kerstin Skow
U12 Coach: Tbd
U14 Coach: Blake Bentt
U16 Coach: Mike Yamashita
FIS Coach: Tim Zarski
Regional Head Coach: Eric Fruhwirth
The new program names are a change that has been made in alpine skiing internationally and adopted by Alpine Canada and Alberta Alpine. U10 (9 and under), U12 (10 & 11 yr olds), U14 (12 & 13 yr olds), U16, U18. The Rabbit Hill programs will have some changes as race calendars are finalized and our head coaches plan out the programs, however the biggest change will be getting used to the new lingo.
U12 is the group with the most changes to the race calendar and we will have a parents meeting for this group during the Sept 15th Registration Day.
Dryland programs for the FIS and U16 have already begun, and the rest will be ramping as well.
Further information about Dryland will be sent out soon.
